How do I book a Dandeli trip with you?
Simply WhatsApp us at +91 80884 20122 with your travel dates, group size, and preferences. Our team will suggest the best resort and package for you and share a detailed quote within a few hours.
Is advance payment required to confirm a booking?
Yes. A partial advance payment is required to hold your booking. The remaining balance is payable on arrival. We will confirm the advance amount when you enquire. Accepted modes: UPI, bank transfer, or cash.
Can I book for the same day or next day?
Same-day bookings are possible on weekdays subject to availability. For weekends and long holidays, we recommend booking at least 5–7 days in advance as resorts fill up quickly.
Will I get a booking confirmation?
Yes. Once your advance is paid, you will receive a written booking confirmation on WhatsApp with: resort name, check-in/check-out dates, package inclusions, total cost, and emergency contact details.
Can I customise a package for my group?
Absolutely. We specialise in custom group packages for college trips, corporate outings, and family reunions. WhatsApp us with your group size (even a rough estimate) and we will create a tailored plan.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations made more than 7 days before arrival receive a full refund. Cancellations 5–7 days before arrival receive a 50% refund. Cancellations less than 5 days before arrival or no-shows are non-refundable. Full details are in our Terms & Conditions.
Can I change my booking dates?
Date changes are subject to availability and must be requested at least 48 hours before your original check-in date. WhatsApp us to check availability for your new dates. One free date change is allowed per booking.
What if I need to reduce my group size after booking?
Please notify us as early as possible. Reductions in group size after confirmation may affect the per-person package price and the advance already paid.
Is river rafting available year-round?
No. Rafting on the Kali River at Ganeshgudi is available October to May. It is closed during monsoon season (June–September) due to high water levels and safety regulations. During the off-season, we can arrange other activities like jungle trekking, bird watching, and eco-park visits.
What is the minimum age for river rafting?
The minimum age for river rafting is 12 years. Children must be accompanied by an adult and must wear properly fitted life jackets and helmets at all times.
Can non-swimmers do river rafting?
Yes. Life jackets are mandatory for all participants and trained safety guides accompany every raft. Non-swimmers are welcome on the short (30–45 minute) or mid route (1.5–2 hours). We do not recommend the long route for non-swimmers.
Are the activities safe?
Safety is our top priority. All our activity operators are certified and experienced. Every activity includes a safety briefing, proper equipment (helmets, life jackets, harnesses where applicable), and trained guides. However, adventure activities carry inherent risks — please read our Terms & Conditions before booking.
Can jungle safari tickets be booked through you?
Unfortunately, jungle safari tickets at Kali Tiger Reserve are issued strictly on a first-come, first-served basis at the forest gate counter and cannot be pre-booked through any agent. We will advise you exactly when to arrive to secure a spot. We can arrange your resort, rafting, and all other activities.
What meals are included in the packages?
All our packages include all three meals: breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Meals feature a mix of local Malnad cuisine and standard favourites. Most resorts offer both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options.
Is Wi-Fi available at Dandeli resorts?
Dandeli is a forest area and mobile network connectivity can be limited, especially in deep jungle resorts. Most resorts offer Wi-Fi in common areas, but speeds may vary. We recommend treating your Dandeli trip as a digital detox!
What time is check-in and check-out?
Standard check-in is 12:00 PM and check-out is 11:00 AM the following day (23-hour stay). Early check-in or late check-out may be available on request, subject to the resort’s policy.
Can I visit the resort before booking?
Yes — if you are already in Dandeli, you are welcome to visit our partner resorts before confirming your booking. Contact us and we will arrange it.
How do I reach Dandeli from Bangalore?
Dandeli is approximately 460–480 km from Bangalore, about an 8–9 hour drive via NH 48 through Hubli. Overnight KSRTC and private sleeper buses are also available from Majestic and Yeshwanthpur. Can you arrange transport from Hubli or Bangalore?
We can help arrange cabs from Hubli to Dandeli. For Bangalore, we recommend KSRTC or private sleeper buses. WhatsApp us and we will share reliable cab contacts.
